Buyer Agreement

As a result of the recent rule changes agreed to by The National Association of Realtors (NAR), of which I am a member, Realtors are now required to enter into a Buyers Compensation Agreement when representing buyers in the purchase or lease of a  property. This agreement, among other things, outlines the services an agent will provide and what they will be paid for those services. The Buyers Agreement must be entered into prior to the initial viewing of the property, whether that viewing is in-person or virtual.

Some Points of Note:                                                                                                                                                                                1). The duration of The Buyer Agreement is fully negotiable and can be for any length of time that both the buyer and       agent agree to.

2) Compensation is fully negotiable.

3) Compensation can be subsidized in whole or in part by the Seller. The Buyer is responsible for the difference between the agreed upon compensation represented in the Buyer Agreement and in the subsidy of the seller.
